Green Beans with Browned Butter Almondine
Ingredients:
- 1 pound fresh green beans, trimmed
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup slivered almonds
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste

- Blanch the green beans in a pot of salted boiling water for 2-3 minutes, then immediately transfer to an ice bath to stop the cooking process.
